August 2017 HAPPY BIRTHDAY FRANCES Of course I am prejudiced, as should be understood, but what I am about to say, I believe to be totally correct. I think that Frances is one of the most influential women in the world as it regards the gospel of Jesus Christ. Her program, Frances and Friends, provides answers for a multitude of Bible questions.  Of course, she has an excellent panel with her, but still, she is the guiding hand. She gets up every morning at 4:30 a.m. to prepare for the program for that particular day. She gets home in the early evening at 6 p.m. or later. That’s a 14-hour day.  Beside the duties of her program each day, she literally deals with all personnel within the ministry, and that's some 300-plus people, as well as oversees the day-to-day operations of the ministry. Thank the Lord her health is good, but above all, thank the Lord for the strength He gives her, plus the work she does for Him. No, I am not going to take my life into my hands by telling you how old she is. I will give you a tip. She looks at least 20 years younger than she is. Once again, Happy Birthday Frances! BRAZIL We have just gone on two major cable systems in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. These systems reach approximately 3 million homes in both cities, so I need two things from you: 1. Pray for us. We need an additional translator, and maybe even two of them. That’s an individual (a man or woman) whose primary language is Portuguese, which is spoken in Brazil. The individual must also be fluent in the English language. So, pray that the Lord will provide this particular person (or persons), whomever he or she might be. 2. As well, we need your financial help. Counting overhead, the cost is roughly $100,000 a month, but I think that in these two major cities of Brazil, a tremendous work for God can be carried out. As stated, I need both your prayerful support and your financial support. Please remember the following: “As long as the gospel of Jesus Christ is America’s greatest export, the jackbooted heel of foreign invaders will never walk upon American soil.” I ASK THIS OF YOU If you are blessed by SonLife Broadcasting Network (SBN), I am asking you to set aside each month that which you can afford. SBN includes television, radio, satellite, Internet, and Facebook, so I am referring to any part of the world where our signal goes, and it goes over the majority of this planet. Many of you already do this each month, but I strongly urge all of you who are blessed by this ministry to do what I have requested. I know this: The Lord will bless you abundantly, and of that I am certain. The task that is before us is not easy or simple. It involves the entirety of the world. I realize that’s quite a statement, but it happens to be true. As I have said many times before, and will continue to say, as I am called, so are you. You should understand that, believe that, and function in regard to that. Let me add one more thing: As you set aside each month that which you feel the Lord would have you to do, expect the Lord to bless you. He said in His Word, “Prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of Hosts, if I will not open (to) you the windows of heaven” (Mal. 3:10). He encourages us to test Him, try Him, and prove Him. He has promised to react accordingly, and that means with great blessing. As the song says, and even the Word, “Taste and see that the Lord is good” (Ps. 34.8). EMAILS We are getting emails each and every month from all over the world, actually, from places that we never dreamed possible. Some of these emails come from people who, if they are caught, could forfeit their lives; but the programming is such a blessing to them that they turn it on, praying that they will not be found out by the authorities. Most of this, if not all, is in Muslim countries. How so delighted we are to hear from these people. How so much we pray for them, even on a daily basis. And, how we thank God that the Lord has people all over the world, even in the face of great danger, who still love Him enough to do all that they can to learn more and more about Him. I thank God for the teaching and the preaching that goes out over the network. That’s what we pledge to you on a constant basis—that the gospel will be held up 24 hours a day, seven days a week. There is nothing more important than the gospel of Jesus Christ. Of course, when I speak of the gospel, I am speaking of the Message of the Cross. The Cross of Christ is actually the meaning of the new covenant, the meaning of which was given to the apostle Paul, which he gave to us in his 14 epistles. Thank God that we have the privilege of understanding it and, thereby, at the same time, sharing it with you. Tell others about SBN, which I am certain that many of you are already doing. Then again, as previously stated, pray for us. Pray that we will always do the will of God, and as Paul said, pray that the gospel will have free course, meaning that it will be unhindered.
