From me to you by Jimmy Swaggart
July 2016

I am now reading The Expositor’s Study Bible completely through, beginning with Genesis, and using the Giant Print Edition. Yes, I’m reaching that age to where I need a tiny bit of help.

To be sure, the print in the Giant Print Edition has got to be the easiest to read in the world. If you are having a little trouble with the size of print in the Bible you are presently reading, you must get a copy of our Giant Print Expositor’s Study Bible. I’ll guarantee you that you will find it helpful, exactly as I have.

Yes, it’s a little bit heavy to take to church, but it’s excellent for study, and that’s the reason that you want it.

I know we say it every time, but I believe it to be true. The camps are getting bigger and better—better and bigger than ever—and how we give the Lord the praise and the glory.

This last camp was something else again. There were several times during this last camp that I thought the whole thing would explode because of the freedom of worship, and I’m speaking of the moving and operation of the Holy Spirit. There is nothing in the world like it, and I know that you will agree.

I hope I’m wrong, but I doubt very seriously that there are other campmeetings in this nation, or anywhere in the world, similar to that which is conducted three times a year at Family Worship Center. In other words, when you come to one of these services, you know you’ve been to church.

Yes, I am counting the International Youth Conference in July as one of these three campmeetings. When you get several thousands of young people with all of their energy, on fire for God, and praising the Lord, you have a dynamo on your hands. And that’s exactly what this youth conference is.

So, what am I saying? I’m saying that if you think this is just for kids, you couldn’t be more wrong. It’s the same as our family camps. Thousands of people present—old and young alike—with the Spirit of God falling like rain, and the truth is, when you leave, you know you have been to church.

So, why don’t you come and be with us in this International Youth Conference? The dates are July 20-24, and I guarantee that you will not be disappointed.

In taking your vacation this year, if it’s at all possible, why don’t you stop by Baton Rouge and be with us in service on one of the Sundays? I think it will be well worth your while. I say this simply because we have scores of people who do just that, and how so very, very happy we are to have them. As you come up and introduce yourself, it’s like we’re meeting old friends, and that’s exactly what you are. So, if you can, include us in your itinerary. I don’t think you will be disappointed.

Yes, I’m asking for you to pray for us each day, that is, if the Lord brings us to mind. This means so very, very much to us.

Paul once said, “Pray for us that the gospel will have free course.” That’s exactly what I desire. I want the gospel of Jesus Christ, which is the single most important thing on the face of the earth, to have free reign, meaning that it will have access to the entirety of the world.

It’s a staggering thought to think that all of the programming that goes out over the Sonlife Broadcasting Network is going out to a great part of the world. How we thank the Lord for the honor and for the privilege. And you are the ones who help make it possible. Actually, without you, even though we are called of God to do what we are doing, it is you who makes it possible. That’s the way the Lord has designed it. He calls someone to take it to the world, and others to help get it done. Your call from God is, I believe, the same as my call. Thank you for being obedient to the heavenly vision.

We love every one of you, and God bless you supremely.
