Prayer Meeting
Sometime back we instituted a prayer meeting on Saturday mornings. It has been very successful, and we thank the Lord for the moving and operation of the Holy Spirit. We meet each Saturday morning at 9 a.m. and pray for an hour. There is no music, only prayer.

A few weeks ago, I felt in my spirit that it would be good to begin a second hour of prayer on Saturday nights as some people cannot come on Saturday mornings.

So we started the Saturday night prayer meeting as well, which also lasts for an hour, from 6 to 7 p.m.

We Would Like For You To Join Us
Now how can we do that?

We have given the schedule of these Saturday prayer meetings, each beginning at 9 a.m. and again at 6 p.m. (that’s Central Standard Time), and to join in, all you have to do is begin praying when we do, according to the time zones where you live. The idea is for all of us to get together and seek the Lord at the same time. I would like for this thing to be a worldwide prayer meeting. I believe that’s what the Lord wants, what He desires, and that He will bless it.

Much To Pray About
I’m sure that there are many things that each of us need from the Lord. Prayer is the only way that we can open the door for God to help us and bless us. So we would like for you to join us.

Each of our prayer meetings on Saturday last for an hour, but the amount of time that you pray is left up to you. If you like, you can invite friends over to join you in prayer. But at any rate, this world desperately needs the moving and operation of the Holy Spirit, and prayer is the only way it can begin.

My grandmother taught me the value of prayer. I can see her face right now before me. Countless times she said to me, “Jimmy, God is a big God, so ask big.” I have never forgotten that, and it has helped me to touch this world for Christ.

As you engage yourself in these prayer meetings, I believe you will see things begin to change. It may take a little time, but you will find that the Holy Spirit is very pleased with what you are doing and will bless accordingly.

As stated, all of us have much to pray about; there is no shortage of that. But we must go into this believing that the Lord still answers prayer. Hear what He has said:

“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven, give good things to them that ask Him?” (Matt. 7:7-11).

Please Remember This …
We are attempting to touch this world for Christ, and you are a major part of what we do. Your participation, your presence, and your involvement are not by accident. It has been pre-arranged by the Lord, and you should understand that.

This means that you should do what you can do to help us in this worldwide endeavor. Let me say it again, because it’s so very, very important: You are not associated with this ministry by chance. It has been pre-arranged by the Holy Spirit. This means that you occupy a very prominent position in the great kingdom of God in this world. Please understand that, please know that, and please act upon that!

Happy Birthday To Me
On March 15, this evangelist will be eighty-seven years young. I feel great, and more importantly, I believe I’m closer to the Lord than I have ever been in my life, for which we give Him all the praise and all the glory. Above all, I believe that, in the Lord, the best is yet to come. I believe the Lord has promised me some things, and I believe I will see those things materialize. I speak of the salvation of many souls, many being baptized with the Holy Spirit, many healed by the power of God, and many delivered. I believe the Lord has promised me these things, and the manner in which He will bring it to pass is, of course, left up to Him. But I definitely do anticipate that which He is going to do.
