October 2018 Autobiography For years, so many of you have requested that we put at least a part of the life of this ministry in book form. Well we’ve done it, and the title is Amazing Grace. I believe it will hold you spellbound, I believe it will bless you, I believe that it will encourage you, and I pray that you would take advantage of it, and get a copy for yourself and maybe several copies for friends. Special Bonus As you can see in this issue of The Evangelist, we have given special prices on the books, and I would pray you would take full advantage of them. Every book that we put out, as we’ve said in the past, you need to get it and read it. These books will help you to understand the Message of the Cross and the Word of God as a whole. So whatever you do, considering that we’ve cut the price down to the bone, take advantage of it. The International Youth Conference What a meeting! Nearly 2,000 young people gathering to worship God, plus hundreds of grayheads such as myself, which played out to one more phenomenal campmeeting. I keep telling you that these meetings are for everyone, and thank the Lord, scores of you are beginning to believe me. Music like you’ve never heard before, preaching of the gospel like you’ve never heard before, and the Message of the Cross like you’ve never heard before. Now there are two great campmeetings a year at Family Worship Center, and I’m speaking of Resurrection Campmeeting, which is coming up on April 17-21, 2019, and next year’s IYC, scheduled for July 25-29, 2019. These are meetings you cannot afford to miss! If there is any way possible for you to come, then come and be with us. You will not be disappointed, that I promise. These campmeetings are great over television, but, as I hear people say constantly, there is nothing like being there in person. So I’m going to look for you at one—or both—of these camps. I’m Trusting You, Lord That’s the title of our brand-new album, and I pray that you would get a copy, (see page 2 for product details). I don’t believe that you will be disappointed, but rather blessed as the Spirit of God touches your soul. To be sure, you won’t play it one time and then throw it aside. I think you’ll literally wear it out as you play it again and again. Jimmy Swaggart Bible College We have set out to work toward a candidacy for accreditation, which should take about a year, maybe a little more. I need everyone to understand that we are very serious about making the Jimmy Swaggart Bible College something very, very special. I believe the Lord has instructed us to do this. Gabriel Swaggart is heading up the school in its entirety. Loren Larson is in charge of the theology section, with Dr. Don Paul Gray in charge of the academics. We believe that by the grace of God we’ll be able to put together a school that will glorify the Lord, educate those who are privileged to attend, and, as well, lift up Jesus Christ—and that’s the key. As stated, we hope to have accreditation candidacy in the works shortly and get finished anywhere within 12 to 18 months. Then we’ll go for full-time accreditation, which will take another year or two. Now don’t hold me to these timeframes as they are just off the top of my head, but I think they’ll be somewhat correct. Even though an array of subjects will be offered, as should be obvious, our major thrust is still preaching and teaching the Message of the Cross. We believe this is what the Holy Spirit is presently saying to the churches, and, that being the case, we want to do everything within our power to get this message to more and more people. So, if you would like more information on the school, give Gabriel a call. He can tell you what you need to know. But this one thing I guarantee: by the help and grace of the Lord, we’re going to make this school one of the best in the nation. The Lord, I believe, has told me to do just that, and that’s exactly what Frances and I, along with Gabriel, are going to carry out. Come And Be With Us I’m speaking of those of you who have the opportunity to be in service with us at Family Worship Center. When you go on vacation, if you can come by and give us a couple of days, or at least one weekend, I think you will not be disappointed. In fact, I know you will not be disappointed. It will be like heaven on earth, and that, by the grace of God, we pledge to you. Great things are happening here at Family Worship Center, and of course I’m speaking of SonLife Broadcasting as well. Do you realize that the programming reaches a great part of the entirety of the world? We’ve got a story to tell, and God has given us the platform to tell it. I’m so very, very glad that you are a part of it. How Much I Thank You… Let me say one more thing regarding that, and I speak of your prayerful support, and I speak of your financial support.
