September 2017 Taking The Gospel to the World That’s our calling, and that’s our business—the taking of the greatest story ever heard and the greatest message ever proclaimed—to a hurting and dying world: the Message of the Cross. I have just signed a contract to go into nearly 2 million more homes in the great country of Australia. With the other outlet we have there, this means that we are covering almost all of that great country. Also, by the time you read this, we will have been airing in São Paulo and Rio De Janeiro in Brazil. These are two of the largest cities in the world. We are translating those two broadcasts into Portuguese. I could also name a number of other places in the U.S., with hundreds of thousands more homes. At any rate, we now go into approximately 90 million homes in the U.S. and nearly 300 million outside of the U.S. That’s not counting the satellites, inasmuch as we have no way to ascertain how many homes these go into. For instance, almost the entirety of Africa gets its television by the means of satellite. The Message of the Cross We believe this message, the Message of the Cross, is what the Holy Spirit is presently saying to the churches. If that is correct, and I believe with all of my heart that it is, then it means that this is the single most important message on the face of the earth. How I thank God on a daily basis that He has given us the privilege and the opportunity to be the bearer of this great word. It is the secret to all blessing, all prosperity, all freedom, and all victory in Christ. As the little song says, “Look What the Lord Has Done.” You! While the Lord has most definitely called us to do this, He has also called you to be a great part of this work. What a privilege and what an honor! That’s exactly what I want you to understand. Your calling, in a sense, is the same as mine, and all who are a part of this ministry. Never take it lightly! Never think lightly of it! Understand how important this is, as I believe many, if not most of you, do understand. An Increase in the Moving and the Operation of the Holy Spirit I’m noticing this in the services at Family Worship Center. Most of all, I’m noticing it in my programs, The Message of the Cross and A Study in the Word. That’s the key to it all: the moving and the operation of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit begins to move over our programs, and then goes out all over the world, with the Spirit of God then meeting needs, and doing it instantly. I’m reminded of a quite prominent preacher who had given up on himself. I don’t know what the problem was, but he had gotten to the place where he had locked himself in a room and would not come out for days as the powers of darkness sought to destroy him. He turned on the telecast one particular day, and the Holy Spirit tailor-made that particular program just for him. Of course, it was for others as well, but it ministered to him to such an extent that he opened that door and walked out a different man. We are getting more emails, more letters, and more phone calls today than ever before, telling us of victories that are being won as a result of the moving and the operation of the Holy Spirit. That’s the secret! That’s the key! That’s the way! Please notice the following words very carefully: I believe what we’re seeing now is mercy drops falling around us, but as the song says, “Oh, for the showers we plead.” Those showers are on the way. I believe that with all of my heart. I should say that a downpour is on the way! I should say that an avalanche is on the way! It will be a moving of the Holy Spirit such as the world has never seen before. I want to say that again: I believe that what we’re going to see is the greatest outpouring of the Holy Spirit the world or the church has ever known. To be sure, the Spirit of God is able. Can I Ask the Following of You, Even as I Have Asked Many Times? Pray for us! Pray for us daily! Pray for us constantly! I know and realize that there are some of you who are intercessors, meaning that you are called of God for this very purpose. Understand the magnitude of what God has called us to do and pray accordingly. Tell others about the programming, which I am positive that many of you are already doing. Some will laugh at you, some will insult you, but some will hear and respond favorably. Their world will change. So, don’t take the insults (if they do perhaps come your way) as being detrimental. It’s just the powers of darkness, but the Lord is greater. How so grateful we are for the financial support that so many of you give to us, even on a monthly basis. To say that we appreciate this and to say that we are grateful presents itself as a gross understatement. And yet, there are untold thousands, even hundreds of thousands of you, who are blessed by this ministry, but you do not respond very often regarding finances. Let me say the following: I believe that tithing comes under the Abrahamic covenant. That means that it is a part of one of the greatest moves of God ever—the Abrahamic covenant of justification by faith. If that is the case, and I know that it is, then your giving is very important. Even more important is where you give and how you give. Unfortunately, most of the money that purports to be given to the work of God is not to the work of God at all, but something else. You don’t have to guess what we believe. You don’t have to wonder what we’re preaching and teaching. All you have to do is look at the television set, and you know exactly what our doctrine is, meaning that you never have to wonder. I need your help. I cannot touch this world without that help. Please understand that. One More Thing Do you realize that we have just surpassed the 1.2 million mark respecting the placing of The Expositor’s Study Bible into the hands of third-world pastors all over this world? Once again, thank you for helping make this possible. I personally believe that there is no missions work in the world today that even remotely compares with this of which I speak. What I’m about to say, I think probably explains it better than anything else. About four years ago, the Lord spoke to my heart and told me to place The Expositor’s Study Bible into the hands of every third-world pastor. I’m not speaking of something that we saw as a need and set out to meet that need; I am speaking of the Lord directly telling me what to do. That means this: The Expositor’s Study Bible is the Bible that the Holy Spirit has selected for world evangelism, and there is nothing more important than that. I didn’t select it. Before the Lord impressed my heart to do this, which He did forcibly, it had never entered my mind to do such a thing. When we place one of these Bibles into the hands of a third-world pastor, we not only help that pastor, but we help his congregation as well, and greatly so. Let me say it again: I don’t believe there is any missions work in the world today that even remotely compares with the dispensing of The Expositor’s Study Bible. Thank you for helping to make it possible.
