From Me to You: September 2024

THANK YOU

Thank you again for praying for us, for upholding us before the Lord. That means more than I have words to say, that I want you to know. I’m still recuperating, but I feel good, and I thank the Lord for that. I’m also thankful for our staff; they have carried on, immeasurably so. All of our people here do an excellent job. I thank the Lord for the help that he’s given us in the way of these men and women—this is more than just a job to them, it’s a ministry, you can tell it, and we appreciate them so very much. We hope to be back on our daily programming very, very soon, but until then, I implore you to keep praying for us, please. 

JSBC 

Gabriel tells me that a lot is happening over at the college. They’ve reached a milestone in the accreditation process—the application has been submitted, but there is still more to do. It’s a detailed process, I’m told, but Gabe and his team seem to be ahead of the curve. And then there’s the remodel of the entirety of the college that is already underway. Two of our buildings—the A.N. Trotter Student Life Center and the athletic center—both will be completely overhauled and modernized, something that had to be done as these buildings are some forty years old. It’s one more project, let me tell you, and it has to be done with little to no disruption to our students who have already started the 2024-2025 school year, but I’m confident that Gabriel will get the job done.

2025 JSM CAMP MEETING

Speaking of 2025, it’s never too late to start making plans to be with us for our next camp meeting. The dates are April 16-20. And please understand, these camp meetings are getting better and better. It’s a little bit of heaven on earth, and I believe this one coming up is going to be the best ever with music, singing, and worship as never before. The preaching and teaching of the gospel will lift up Christ to heavenly heights to portray Him for who He actually is. If you can make this camp meeting, please do so, we’ll be thrilled to have you!

WHAT THE LORD SPOKE TO MY HEART

Not long ago, a lady wrote to us saying, “Brother Swaggart, my husband recently passed away, but he died saying the sinner’s prayer with you, his The Expositor’s Study Bible open, across his chest. Had it not been for the television programming, I don’t think he would have made it. But I know he’s in heaven today.” Glory to God. I thank God for letters like this one. It brings to mindwhat the Lord spoke to my heart some time back. He said, “Wherever this television signal goes in the world, My Spirit will go with it.” He then said, “I will save, I will fill, I will heal, I will deliver, and I will bless.” To make it a little more understandable, He said, “I will save souls, I will fill believers with the Holy Spirit, I will heal the sick, I will deliver those who are in bondage, and I will bless all who are under the sound of that signal.” The Lord told me this, and that’s the reason we go on television wherever the Lord opens the door.

THE WORTH OF THE GOSPEL

The gospel of Jesus Christ is the single most important thing on the face of the earth, and a thousand times over. That’s the reason it must go to every nation, every city, and, in fact, every soul. It is imperative that all would hear, simply because of its great worth.

MIRACLES

Every time the Lord saves the soul, that is a miracle. Most of you have been with us on one of our telecasts whenever the Spirit of God will move, and I pray the sinner’s prayer for the unredeemed to come to Christ. To be sure, we are seeing many saved; however, that is nothing by comparison to what we are going to see. I believe the Lord has told me that we are going to see literally thousands brought to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Thousands of believers baptized with the Holy Spirit, plus bondages of darkness of every description broken by the power of God.

THE BONDAGE OF SIN

Sin has a power to it that cannot be broken by education, money, or whatever. It can only be broken by the power of God. That means the Holy Spirit alone can break through the shell that wraps itself around unredeemed humanity, to keep them from hearing and knowing the gospel. But the Holy Spirit can break that bondage and set the captive free. He has done it with untold millions of others, and He’s still doing it today, and we are about to see the greatest move of God the world has ever known. 

I BELIEVE THAT

When I say we are about to see the greatest move of God ever, that’s not mere rhetoric; it’s not just verbiage; it’s what I believe the Lord has spoken to my heart. The Lord is going to bring it to pass. That’s the reason that He has told us to go on television in every country of the world that opens its door to us. That is exactly what we are doing. Yes, it costs money, but which is the most important, money or the souls of men? I think we both know the answer to that.

YOU

You are an integral part of this ministry. To be frank with you, whenever you feel a stirring in your heart about the salvation of souls as you read what I say or hear what is said over SonLifeBroadcasting, that’s the gift of faith at work. You may not think that you have that gift of the Spirit, but if you feel like what I described—you feel it in your heart, it stirs your soul; you hear me say about multitudes being saved, and you feel like you need to pray in that order and believe God accordingly—that’s the gift of the Holy Spirit, the gift of faith. Most of you never thought that you had this gift, but some of you do, and I need your help as never before. To be frank with you, I need that more than I need anything else—for you to believe with me and to seek God on behalf of this ministry even as many of you already do. Again, thank you so very, very much.
